Getting There
Liveaboards embark and disembark either at Nassau on New Providence or Freeport on Grand Bahama. This is also where the two largest airports are located and where the majority of international flights arrive. There are regular direct flights from most US cities.
Dive Conditions
Diving in the Bahamas is available year-round, although marine species sightings vary depending on the time of year. Water temperatures throughout the summer are in the 80s while over the winter they drop to the mid-70s. Divers can expect exceptionally clear water and comfortable conditions for much of the year.
Covid Entry Requirements
Fully vaccinated visitors who have completed a two-week immunity period can enter the Bahamas without restriction. Unvaccinated travelers must present a negative PCR test taken no sooner than 5 days prior to travel to the Bahamas.
