Mark Hatter is an accomplished photojournalist who has published nearly one hundred feature articles. In 35 years of diving, Mark has logged over 2000 hours, much of it doing underwater photography.

Underwater Photo Instructor and Gear Specialist

Mark Strickland’s life-long interest in the sea has included over 10,000 dives and careers as lifeguard, boat captain and scuba instructor. His passion for underwater photography has led him to many top dive locales, including Virgin Islands, Australia, and Thailand, where he spent 17 years as Cruise Director on a series of liveaboards.

Bryan is an editor and writer for the Underwater Photography Guide and a photo workshop trip leader for Bluewater Photo/Travel. He lives on Vancouver Island, and loves diving his local waters, or doing any activity that takes him out into nature. Other favourite places to dive include Greenland, Komodo, Tulamben, Anilao, and South Australia... but nothing beats the local steller sea lion colonies (where you are most likely to find him during the winter season).

ROBERT BAILEY

Underwater Photo Instructor

Robert has worked professionally on commercial television sets doing production photography, shot modern dance for the art department at the University of Calgary, and has worked in a freelance capacity shooting a variety of subjects. Rob worked as a NAUI scuba instructor, and then instructor trainer for the University of Calgary from 1993-1999. He is still an avid diver, and never dives without a camera.
